Synopsis: Two girls in the same class at a Seoul high school have the same name, Oh Hae-young. One of the them is popular (“Pretty Hae-young”) and the other one is ignored (“Ordinary Hae-young”). After graduation, both of them have cancelled weddings. Pretty Hae-young doesn’t show up on her wedding day; Ordinary Hae-young’s fiance` calls the wedding off the day before. Ordinary Hae-young falls in love with Pretty Have-young’s abandoned groom, but the course is True Love is imperiled by guilt, revenge, misunderstandings, and inexplicable visions of the future.
Review: Another Miss Oh received huge ratings during its initial showing in Korea, and was extended by two additional episodes. In the early episodes, Ordinary Hae-young is drunk, angry, and loud most of the time, which is annoying. That ends when her feelings for her neighbor, the aforementioned abandoned groom, are reciprocated. Subplots include a gold-digging mother, a double-crossing business partner, and an unexpected pregnancy.
Recommended.
